DalinYebo provides knowhow to the bio-renwable chemicals industry, interested in the manufacturing of furfural and its many by-products. We are an independent company that provides expertise globally. Our market, products, technology, CAPEX and OPEX data is proprietary to DalinYebo and would only be provided under a fee-for-service agreement e.g. for scoping studies, viability assessments, diagnostic studies, project development plans, process design packages, pre-feasibility studies, bankable feasibility studies, marketing & sales plans and business plans. We structure the agreements in accordance with the required scope of works and in the context of the business relationships.
DalinYebo is interested in developing joint venture partnerships with the owners of biomass and/or investors to make use of our intellectual capital.
This is how we typically go about developing a project:
- We need as much information as possible on your furfural (FF) project. The questionnaire will assist us in evaluating this project potential, which would also include information if there is an existing facilities, such as a sugar mill, ethanol plant or pulp mill . Please use our questionnaire as a guideline. It can be obtained from our website (click here to go to the download area).
- At the same time, we enter into a confidentiality agreement (Please register to access our draft Non-Disclosure and Non-Circumvention agreement form our downloads).
- Thereafter we would provide you with a preliminary and high level budget estimate for the construction (and operation) of a furfural plant.
- Should this be attractive to you, the next step would most likely be a scoping study to develop a project or business development plan. Generally, this activity will take up to two month and could cost anything in the order of R155,000 to R400,000 (depending on location and feedstock).
- By now, the information available allows you to make a decision to commence with a phased project development:
- DalinYebo would undertake a pre-feasibility study (± two month), which may included feedstock testing at our pilot plant, etc.. The scope would be discussed and developed jointly with the client (or partner) to suit a given location. The cost for this phase would be in the order of R750,000 to R1,750,000 (For up-to-date exchange rates, use our Currency Converter below).
- The next phase would be the development of a detailed feasibility study or a business plans, against which a client or investor will be able to make the investment decision or raise project loans. Typical costs for this phase is in the order of R3,000,000 to R6,000,000 and often its duration is a consequence of the environmental impact assessments or operating permitting requirements.
- There are many ways of implementing a project on the basis of the documentation generated during the development phase. The DalinYebo team has experienced project managers available that not only give advise on choosing the right contracting strategy, contractors or suppliers, but are also available to participate in the execution of a project.
Please do not hesitate to contact us and allow us to give you some ideas on how we can assist you realising your business potential.
